Christmas mixed media layout

Welcome

I am Shylaa here today to share a video tutorial of Christmas mixed media layout using materials of ITD Collection.

Materials required: 

* Rice paper ITD Collection Scrapbook paper - Christmas in blueBeautiful Flowers
* Maska ITD / ITD stencil ST0152 , ITD stencil ST0132  , ITD Sentcil ST0051

*  Chipboard T032

*  Crystal Clear Film F026

* Texture paste
* Deco stones

*  Handmade flowers
*  Die cuts

* Art Medium - Matte

*  Glue

* Glitter dust

Method:

1. Take the 12x12 ITD Collection Christmas in Blue Design paper. Then apply a coat of Art medium matte. This helps in avoiding the colours to bleed on the design paper. 
2.Added textures using ITD stencil and texture paste.
3. Take the chipboard and apply a coat of white gesso and add it to the design paper with layers below

4. Add Fussy cut images in between the layers

5. Then embellish the layout with lots of  handmade flowers, laces,deco stones, Sentiment and glitters.

Inspiration card for DIY blog

Moodboard challenge at DIY blog

 Hello crafty friends,

My today's post is a floral card made as an inspiration to the DIY blog for the autumn moodboard.

Here is the moodboard

Basic steps for my card:

The entire florals used in the card is made out from the Claina Palmer dies. One of my favourite dieset collection. Below is the link to her shop. A must have dieset for your floral collections

Blooming 'ansome Wild Rose & Gypsophila Die Set

1. I have taken a A2 size card, Over the card base added the designpaper and then added a distress ink coloured panel.

2. Then layered the handmade door panel above the card with foam tape.

3. Decorated it with florals, foamarian pumpkins.

4. Finished by card by adding sentiment and golden beads.

White Christmas card tutorial

 Hello crafty friends, 

I am here today to share a video tutorial of  Winter christmas card using paper of ITD Collection for DIY blog.

Materials required: 

* Scrapbook paper ITD Collection Scrapbook paper - Evening time

*  A2 size Cardbase

* Handmade flowers

* Die cuts  & Stamp from claina palmer designs Fir bough & Poinsettia Flower, Mix em Christmas, Nested circles
* Texture paste

* Stencil

* sequins

*Foam tape
* Glue

Basic Process:

1. Take an A2(4 1/4" x 5 1/2") size card base

2. The design paper is from ITD collection and i have cut into 4" x 5 1/4" and scrapped the edges with scissors and distressed it distress ink

3. Created the star patterns over it with texture paste and stencil

4.  After drying i added the layers of florals and sentiment diecuts

5. To finish the card, i have added sequins.

Video tutorial vintage style mixed media layout using Rice paper

 Hello Crafty friends,

I am here today to share a video tutorial of vintage style mixed media layout for DIY blog using materials of ITD Collection. - ITD Collection Rice paper - Beautiful Flowers.

Materials required: 

10" x 10" - white card stock

* Rice paper ITD Collection Rice paper - Beautiful Flowers

*  ITD stencil ST0068B

* Texture paste

*Deco stones

* Handmade flowers

* Die cuts

* Sequins

* Glue

Method:

1.Take 12"x12" white card stock, keep this as a base. Then take the rice papers and then layer it over the cardstock using modpodge glue.

2.Added textures using ITD stencil and texture paste.
3.Add the photo and add layers below

4. Add chipboard Embellishments

5. Then embellish the layout with lots of  handmade flowers, butterfly cutouts,deco stones, diecuts and sequins.

Bottle decoupage tutorial

Welcome

I am here today to share a video tutorial of upcycling of glass bottle by decoupage method with crackle finish using rice paper of ITD Collection for DIY blog

Materials required: 

* "Papier-ryzowy-decoupage-tla-papier-ryzowy"  ITD COLLECTION),
* Glass Bottle
* Crackle medium
*Black gesso or Primer
*Sponge 
*Chalk Paint or Acrylic Paint(dark & light shade)
* Handmade flowers

* Die cuts
* Jute

* Chipboard
* Glue

*  Scissor

* Flat paint brush

Step by step method:

Step 1:The first step is to clean the bottle with sand paper so that there’s no adhesives left from labels.

Step 2: I primed the entire surface of my bottle with black gesso with sponge brush. Then let it dry completely i used heating tool for quick drying, ensure that you keep the heating tool a bit away from bottle.

Step 3: Next step is to add chalk paints. Apply the dark colour and dry it thoroughly.

Step 4: Apply the crackle medium over the bottle in single pattern in one direction(either vertical or horizontal). Do add too much of the medium as it creates drops on the bottle which are subject to peel off later. 

Step 5: Allow it to dry thoroughly. Then apply the light color chalk paint in the same direction as above.You can see the cracks developing on the bottle. Again dry it up thoroughly.

Step 6. Cut the rice paper motifs with scissors and glue the motifs one by one over the bottle.

Step 7: Decorate the bottle with flowers, threads etc.

Step 8: The final step is to varnish and allow it to dry naturally for 24 hours.
