Hello Crafty friends,
I am here today to share a Inspiration on mixed media frame for Expressions craft blog.
Our current month challenge is a mood board and the colours to incorporate is Rust and Teal.
I have altered a photo frame here.
Here is the step by step process of making it
Step one: I have taken the photo frame and coated it with a layer of white Gesso
Step two: Then added Star dangler chipboards and completely coated it with IMMIX Crackle paste and allowed it to dry naturally to get good crack effects
Step three: Now have added colours using Chest nut brown sprinkle mist and added heart to the center with layers below.

Step four: Added textures over the heart shape with IMMIX texture paste and pine cone stencil and then added IMMIX decostones to the sides of it
Step five: Added colours to the center portion with IMMIX maya blue chalk paint and teal sprinkle mist.
Step six: Then embellish the frame with flowers, sequins, chipboards etc
And a few close ups of this mixed media work of art
Hope you are inspired to create something with our art essentials
