Design team @Downland Crafts

Dear friends,

I am happy to share being on the new and first design team of Downland crafts.

Downland Crafts is a family run registered craft supplies business based in Killeshandra, Co. Cavan, Ireland since July 2010. They are specialise in card making, paper crafting, jewellery making and beading supplies.

Here is the first stampset which i received

Here I share with you today what i have created with the above stamp.

Base for all the cards: i stamped all the images from Baby boy set and watercoloured with zig watercolours and fussy cut it and kept aside.
For my first project, I thought it would be fun to make a shaker card. To create this card begin with a white cardstock background inked up a sky using a cloud stencil and Salty ocean Distress ink. Use laced rectangle steel die to create the window of the shaker box. Add a transparency sheet and a layer of foam tape to backside of the frame.  Add some stamped hearts in blue ink and the sentiment at the top. Fill with some stamped images, sequins, micro beads and glue the transparency top to the background of the card. Use the coloured baby image and glue to the front of the card and shake.

For my second project,This card was so easy to put together. Stamp the images directly on the cardstock radmomly. Add a vellum paper over it. Glue the coloured baby image to the center over the vellum.

For my third project, directly over the cardbase, use Mowed Lawn Distress Ink to ink blend a green background at bottom and inked up a sky using a cloud stencil and Salty ocean Distress ink. Use a mister to spritz some water over it and added the coloured stamp images.
