Mixed Media ATC

Hello everyone!

It’s here to share an post for Expressions craft blog.

Today I’d like to show you some inspiration on Mixed media ATC’s using Expressions craft metallic paints. This type of background is so much fun to create and you can also use this technique in other projects like cards, layouts etc.

All you need are some different colors of Metallic paints, Black gesso and something to add texture like stones, beads, flowers, tissues, metal charms etc.

My first step was to create texture. I've adhered a tissue paper over the cardstock and added stones, beads, flowers over it using gel medium. Then coated it with a layer of black gesso and make sure you let it dry completely before you start adding color.

I have used Velvet orchid, My blue heaven, Tuscan red and bronze moon metallic paints. once it dries add some micro beads and finish it by adding sentiment

November CCC reveal

Hello Crafty friends!
My today's post is on the card which i created for Card Chain Challenges.

This time I sent my card to Jerrie in Wisconsin.

I love playing along in Card Chain challenge to make new friends from all over the world.

This month i made a card with friendship theme.

Here is my card which was made with the Altenew beautiful days stampset. I have heat embossed the flower stamp and then watercoloured with Camilin watercolours and fussy cut it.  For the card background  i used script stencils and distress ink. The flower stamp was adhered over it with 3D foam tape. Added the sentiment and sequins to finish my card.

I received the card from

 Beveley in Alabama

You would love playing with this friendly team. our November link up is still open.
