Mixed media layout with rainbow

Dear friends,

Today I am sharing a butterfly shaped mixed media layout

This month we play textures with IQCG & colours with Unstampabelles .

I had been wanting to scrap this particular picture of my family. It was taken on a very special day when I completed 10 years in my profession life. 

The butterfly shape is hand cut and coated with two layers of gesso with spatula to create layers.

After drying it with heat gun, spritzed the homemade misters with acrylic paints.

Allowed it to dry and adhered the diecut as base to fix quilled flowers, photo and sentiment.

Stenciled the corners using itsybitsy stencils and added some sequins to glitter
